Biography:
Professor Berna Uslu Coskun is a GMC-registered Medical Doctor and highly experienced ENT Surgeon with over 25 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery, rhinology, facial plastic surgery and allergy management.
She graduated from Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical School and completed her specialist ENT training at Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital. She subsequently progressed through the academic ranks to become Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Health Sciences, Turkey, where she combined clinical practice with teaching and research.
Professor Uslu Coskun has held senior leadership positions, including Medical Director of the ENT Department at Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital. She has authored more than 60 peer-reviewed international publications and has presented her work at numerous European and international conferences.
Her clinical interests include rhinoplasty, facial plastic surgery, facial rejuvenation, allergy treatment, and general ENT practice. Following GMC registration in 2024, she has been practising in London and currently works at Mediwell Clinic while continuing her private ENT practice in Istanbul.

Research Interest:
Professor Berna Uslu Coskun's research interests focus on rhinology, facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, allergy and immunotherapy, laryngology, and head and neck surgery. Her academic work has explored the diagnosis and management of allergic rhinitis, sinonasal disorders, nasal obstruction, rhinoplasty outcomes, olfactory dysfunction, pediatric ENT conditions, sleep-disordered breathing, and head and neck oncology.
She has a particular interest in evidence-based approaches to rhinoplasty and facial aesthetics, the impact of allergy and immunotherapy on upper airway function, and innovations in surgical techniques that improve both functional and aesthetic outcomes. Her research also encompasses laryngeal disorders, thyroid and salivary gland pathology, and quality-of-life outcomes following ENT interventions.
